Linkly | Link-in-Bio Platform

Role: UI/UX Designer — UX strategy, research, design system, wireframing

The link-in-bio space is crowded — Linktree, Beacons, Carrd. The brief was to build something genuinely better: more free features, deeper customization, and a tool that works equally well for creators and businesses. The hardest part wasn't designing screens — it was making sense of a product that didn't exist yet and turning a big idea into a coherent, scalable experience.

UI/UX, Product Design

What I did

I started with competitive research across existing platforms to identify gaps — paywalls, weak customization, shallow analytics. From that I built personas and UX flows for two distinct audiences: individual creators and business users, each with different needs and mental models.

The core design challenge was the template + widget system — giving users real creative freedom without overwhelming them. I mapped widget types, interaction logic, and layout combinations, then built a custom design system from scratch: full token structure, component library, and variants for every state and screen size. I also designed website concepts positioning Linkly against competitors by leading with what's free.

Outcome

A complete UX foundation ready for development: research documentation, user flows, wireframes, UI concepts, and a scalable design system with tokens — everything a team needs to build without guessing.
